Position Description:
- Apply powder coat and ceramic coat to various metal surfaces using spray guns
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of powder coating, ceramic on surfaces
- Monitor/ adjust equipment settings to achieve desired coating thickness/finish
Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary touch-ups or repairs
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in powder coating and ceramic coat or related field (wet painting)
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing coatings accurately
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
Helpful Skills:
- Knowledge of auto body repair, or mechanical work is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus
