- Assumes assigned daily tasks to the maintenance department
- Regular repair and preventive maintenance of all SMI equipment
- Regular repair and preventive maintenance of all SMI facilities
- Organize, request and control SMI-supplied maintenance tools and work areas
- Ensure area is cleaned up after maintenance work has been completed
- Ensure all repaired equipment is documented and promptly returned to respective area
- Assist in the upkeep, planning and scheduling of all preventive maintenance activities
- Assure all major equipment maintenance documents are created, maintained and available
