Position description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our metal fabrication team. This role involves working with various metals including aluminum, copper, and steel, performing tasks such as cutting materials to length and operating punching machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Operate machinery to cut metal materials (aluminum, copper, steel, etc.) to specified lengths
Use Ironworkers to create holes or shapes according to production specifications
Measure and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality
Load and unload raw materials and finished products
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety protocols and always wear appropriate PPE
Assist with other general labor tasks as needed in the shop
