 Position Summary: Â
As a Grinder, you will perform a variety of manual labor tasks, primarily operating grinding equipment to shape, smooth, and finish metal or other materials. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and a strong attention to detail to ensure products meet high quality standards. Â Responsibilities: Â
Operate hand-held and stationary grinding equipment to remove excess material, smooth surfaces, and correct defects.
Inspect finished parts for quality and report any non-quality issues immediately.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Make adjustments to equipment as directed by supervisors.
Have knowledge of the locations of all shutdown and lockout switches in the assigned area.
Remove scrap from the work area.
Execute all tooling and roll changes
Other duties may be assigned.
