Position Description
You’ll support a fast-paced manufacturing operation by keeping production running safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Typical responsibilities include:
Operations & Material Handling
Operate sit-down forklifts and other material-handling equipment
Load and unload delivery vehicles (including use of mobile dock plates)
Operate light and heavy industrial equipment; run stretch system equipment
Handle raw, in-process, and finished materials; clean/prepare product for shipment
Quality & Documentation
Perform basic quality control checks and tests; operate simple lab equipment
Understand and follow work orders, SOPs, and supporting documentation
Use basic computer systems (ERP/Microsoft Suite) to log work and results
Safety & Housekeeping
Follow all safety policies/procedures and properly use required PPE
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
General Expectations
Read, write, and do simple math
Work independently and collaborate across departments
Assist with minor maintenance as needed and help keep equipment running smoothly
Use sound problem-solving to identify issues and escalate appropriately
Physical Expectations
Frequently lift up to 55 lbs
Frequent reaching/bending; climb stairs; work on elevated platforms
Comfortable working in warm/hot and sometimes dirty environments
Employer provides training on all equipment and job duties. Forklift and prior manufacturing experience are a plus.
Production Team Member
Basic Qualifications
Prior manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred
Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and industrial equipment
Comfort with basic quality checks and simple measurement tools
Reliable attendance for night shift and day-shift training
Ability to meet the physical demands listed above
Schedule & Pay
Training: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday (temporary, paid)
Compensation:$20/hour (weekly pay) + OT opportunities
