Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, especially in metal stamping.
Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
Flexible to work any shift assigned (Day shift for training, transitioning to steady Midnights).
Perform general shop maintenance and assist with general housekeeping and organization.
Operate a small vacuum crane to move metal heads safely.
Support production through material handling and assisting machine operators.
Bundle and band tank heads for processing and shipment.
Wash, clean, grind, or file metal products to remove rough edges.
Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures.
Make adjustments to equipment as directed by operators or supervisors.
Have knowledge of the functionality of equipment within the facility.
Minimize operational delays by proactively identifying potential hazards or malfunctioning equipment.
Other duties as assigned to support the metal stamping die facility.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
Education: High school diploma or trade school education preferred.
Reliability: Proven record of reliable attendance.
Language skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
